|FRAMED JMJ TILES
|JMJ Tiles offered art tiles reflective of the craftsman era. Joshua was
inspired by tiles previously made by Claycraft and Batchelder. JMJ Tile was
located on the sleepy north end of Longboat Key, Florida. Joshua tried to focus
on creating tiles similar to the way the early pioneers did; to see and feel the
colors and landscapes they were inspired by. Joshua has taken a break from tile
making so quantities are limited.
Each tile is handpainted and embossed and has its own beauty and charm. Each tile
has a unique matte finish that gives it an antique quality. The tiles are approximately
1/2” thick. The tiles are high fired and uniquely glazed; no two are alike. Many of his
tiles are reminiscient of the beauty and nature that surrounds Santa Barbara,
California. In addition to his location in Florida, Joshua had studios in Santa Monica
and South Pasadena, California. We think you'll agree that they are one-of-a-kind.
